Today’s Thoughts
My eyes were closed, but I was back.
A new day.
For a few minutes I lay sprawled, uncoiling with deep breaths, limbs reaching all corners of the bed, gently stretching myself into existence and recognizing my awareness.
As I snuggled deeper into the duvet, a soft thought wafted in, “What time is it?”
